Pricing & Policy Updates

Effective January 1st 2025

1. Lesson Pricing Adjustment

After much careful consideration, I will be implementing a modest increase in lesson prices.

As you know, I have not raised my lesson prices in over four years, and during that time, I have remained committed to providing the highest quality of instruction and an exceptional learning experience for all of my students. However, due to ongoing increases in the cost of rent, utilities, rising operational expenses, and inflation, it has become necessary to adjust my rates in order to continue offering the best possible service.

       New price per lesson

• 30 Minute Lesson: $45

• 45 Minute Lesson: $62

• 60 Minute Lesson: $80

I understand that any price increase can be concerning, and I want to emphasize that I do not want this adjustment to become a financial hardship for you. If you have any concerns about how this change may affect your ability to continue with lessons, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Please know that this decision was not made lightly. I deeply value the trust and support you have shown by choosing to be part of Alberta Street Music School. My goal is to maintain a sustainable and enriching learning environment for all students, and this adjustment will help me continue to invest in quality resources and maintain the high standards of teaching you’ve come to expect.

2. Updated Cancellation Policy

To help me manage scheduling more effectively and ensure fairness to all my students, I am also updating my cancellation policy.

• 72-Hour Notice Required for Cancellations and Rescheduling:

• Lessons canceled within 72 hours of appointment will be charged the full amount of the lesson.

• Lessons can be rescheduled with a minimum of 72 hour notice or you will be charged the full amount of the lesson.

• No-Show Policy: If a student does not show up for their scheduled lesson, the full lesson fee will be charged.

You may cancel or reschedule yourself using the link in your appointment confirmation email or by logging in to your account.
